Brain Waves and Finger Food

Today Leela decided that she no longer wished to be spoon fed. She is eight months old and naturally independent. “Such a shame to waste those delicious mashed peas and shredded chicken.” I lamented, eying up the dog dish. But then, “…I wonder…” a thought tugged and pinched at my brain until I finally caught up with the big idea and spread those mushy peas onto her rice cracker finger food.

“Voila” I said, doing my best french waiter impersonation. “your deener, she eez served.”

Leela smiled for the camera (eight-month-olds love the paparazzi) and then gobbled up her mises en bouche.
