Hand Prints for Father’s Day

For this year’s father’s day, my brilliant and creative sister decided to have all of the kids make their own hand prints.

She started by making a batch of salt dough which the kids happily stuck their hands (or feet if they were a year or younger) into.

After three hours of baking at 200F the prints were ready for painting. We used acrylic paints in primary colours. Calixa and cousin Jack has such a great time with this project- they were very excited to give their special gifts to their daddies!
