How do you Get Grounded? A Turning Ground Survey

This blog is about trying to live life simply and finding ways to get grounded….but what exactly does ‘getting grounded’ mean? For me, grounding means slowing down enough to connect with the world around you. The space you create when you slow down is like a room for peace and don’t we all want a little more peacefulness in our lives? That can mean taking the time to cook a wholesome meal for loved ones, digging in the garden and ‘saving’ a few earth worms from the big bad trowel or simply walking out the front door and noticing whatever this wonderful earth has to display. It’s really amazing how taking the time to watch a robin find a snack during a rain shower or listening to child breath while asleep can calm you absolutely.

I’d love to know what it is that you do to get grounded. Please write a comment and tell me all about how you find space in the everyday.
