Here’s the recipe:
Wash and slice about 6 cucumbers and one onion
Pour 1/4 c. salt over the cukes and let them soak in it for an hour.
Drain off the water that came out of the cucumbers and rinse your veggies well.
Stuff your cucumbers into a mason jar and make your brine.
2 c. sugar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp mustard seed
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
Stir until dissolved and then pour over cucumbers. Set in the fridge for two days and then enjoy!
