The Turning Ground Healthy Eating Challenge 2014

It’s time for another Healthy Eating Challenge.

Last year I had this crazy idea that I would run a little lifestyle reset challenge, not only for myself but for anyone else interested in taking control of their eating and switching to a healthier way of enjoying food. The challenge began as a ‘small’ project which very quickly intensified to the point that it completely and utterly consumed my life.

I was so burnt out after the challenge ended that I  literally swore off meal planning for the ten months following the project’s completion. It was such a lot of work- writing the menus, working out the recipes, arranging the meal plan and shopping lists, not to mention the unseen portion of the challenge- the background writing (ugggg)…

BUT thanks to last year’s mammoth effort,  the groundwork has been laid and I am ready and able to produce and participate in another eight week Healthy Eating Challenge. Not only am I ready but I’m excited about it too. You see, I did the challenge last year and I experienced the results. I looked great and felt amazing (despite feeling overworked). I’m so ready to feel that good again!

Here’s how the Healthy Eating Challenge works:

Beginning on January 13th, 2014  I will email Healthy Eating Challenge participants the first of an eight week meal plan complete with recipes and grocery lists. The plan is an eight week guided reset for your body- to reign in the sugar addictions and to clean the body up so that it no longer feels sluggish, tired and blah! The hardest part of making dietary changes is the meal planning but have no fear! I do all of this for you. The Healthy Eating Challenge isn’t a ‘diet’ but because the Challenge includes lots of fruits, veggies and other wholesome foods- chances are you’ll shed a few pounds on the program. More importantly, by the end of our six weeks- you will feel great! You’ll sleep better, have more energy, be more positive and will have created new, healthy habits that will last. 

So! Are you game? Will you give me eight weeks to get a new you? The cost of the program is $10 per week- a grand total of $80. I do all the planning (the hard work) for you. Participants can connect on Turning Ground  or at the Healthy Eating Challenge Facebook Page and commiserate  about our ups and downs, our successes and our set backs and together we can make 2014 a wonderful, healthy year.

    Hi Loralee, The recipes are easy. You make your food from scatch which, of course, requires a little more prep time but the nice thing about the challenge is that you can explore each week’s meal plan and decide to double up on amounts for one meal and eat leftovers for another. Nothing is set in stone and you can adjust the challenge to suit your schedule. I sent an email to your yahoo address. Please let me know if you got it.
